Dedication.
This site is dedicated to my
Teachers. Teachers play a very important role in the development
and shaping of our personalities and of what we are, and yet
somewhere down the line people tend to forget the importance and
greatness of our teachers.
Being a teacher myself for two
years before joining the IT Industry, I feel the experience as a
teacher was one of the most rewarding and fruitful.
Our parents are our first
teachers who teach us good from bad, and right from wrong. Then
as we grow, we are introduced to the preschool environment, and
then followed by school, which is then followed by college. All
along this long journey from childhood to adulthood, our
teachers are like the guiding light always imparting in us
knowledge and teaching us to be independent and strong
individuals.
There was a proverb which I had
read a few years ago and which inspired me to launch this site,
it is a Chinese proverb which goes as follows
“Feed
a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach him how to catch
a fish and you feed him for a lifetime.”
This proverb shows the power of
education and demonstrates the great and never ending wealth
that our teachers give us. Teachers teach us to be independent
and help us to fend for ourselves when we are out in this world.
Education is the most important form of insurance for any person
for his future life, and it is our teachers who lead and guide
us towards achieving this goal of ours.
I salute all teachers and would
like to tell them that they are doing such a tremendous service
to humanity, and I am sure that they would carry on the great
job that they have done so far.
Concluding my thanks to
teachers I would like to add another famous quote in praise of
our teachers.
"In a completely rational society, the best of us
would aspire to be teachers and the rest of us would have to
settle for something less, because passing civilization along
from one generation to the next ought to be the highest honor
and the highest responsibility anyone could have."
